Ask Siri

Ask Siri about the things you've saved, and find them in your iPhone's search.

On iPhone, Siri can answer from what you keep: the serial number on your washing machine, the date on a museum ticket. Say “Keeplea” when you ask, so Siri looks in your things rather than in your photos.

Ask Keeplea

Say “Hey Siri, ask Keeplea”. Siri asks what you’re looking for. Say it in your own words, and Siri answers in a sentence, with the thing it found underneath. On iOS 26 and later, tap that to open it in Keeplea.

This works on iOS 18 and later, in every language Keeplea speaks. Siri also knows the name as “Keep Lee” and “Keeply”.

With Siri AI

On iOS 27 with Siri AI, you can ask in one sentence: “What’s the date on my museum ticket in Keeplea?” Siri answers and shows the thing it found. Tap it to open it in Keeplea.

To open Keeplea on a search instead, say “Search Keeplea for tickets”.

Siri may find your things even when you don’t say “Keeplea”, but it often looks in Photos instead. Saying the name is the reliable way.

Siri AI is Apple’s, and so are its conditions: which iPhones, languages and countries it works in. Apple lists them.

On iOS 27, your things also turn up when you search your iPhone, with their photos. Tap one to open it in Keeplea. After updating to iOS 27, open Keeplea once so it can add your things.

What Siri never gets

Identity documents, medical records and passwords stay in Keeplea, and so do the details it keeps hidden, like a saved wifi password. Siri doesn’t find them, and asked through “Ask Keeplea”, it says no more than that the thing is in Keeplea.

With the app lock on, your things leave Siri AI and your iPhone’s search until you turn the lock off. “Ask Keeplea” still works: on iOS 26 and later, Keeplea opens and asks for your face first, then Siri answers. On earlier versions, Siri tells you Keeplea is locked.

When you use “Ask Keeplea”, your question comes to us to be answered, and we don’t keep it. When Siri AI answers, or you search your iPhone, your things are read from your iPhone, and nothing comes to us. What Siri does with an answer — including keeping it in its history — is up to Apple, under Apple’s terms. The privacy policy has the details.

On Android

Siri is iPhone only. On any phone, you can also ask ChatGPT or Claude.
